Circulation v/s Transmissibility
There are two words that you hear constantly in hair loss - that is "Circulation" and "DHT" and mostly everything that we do is somehow increasing one or decreasing the other.
Rosemary, Minoxidil = Circulation
Hand Massages, Inversion - Circulation
Dermaroller = increase topicals that promote circulation
Saw Palmetto/Pumpkin Seed = DHT Inhibiting
Finasteride/Dutasteride = DHT Inhibiting
The list above is THEE big three when it comes to DIY hair loss restoration and the only thing more or as popular is hair transplantation. However, like many things in androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness, everything is not what it seems.
Circulation is a very broad term and most of us would think of it as increasing the blood flow of the vessels and capillaries of the scalp to the follicles. But there is another deeper, more correct aspect of circulation that is not talked about.
it is "transmissibility" of resources through the scalp tissues. I like to think of it like the scalp is a sponge and in MPB parts of it become dried and hard and unable to share resources (trade) exchange with other regions. The two regions that seem to suffer the most from the issue is the "crown" and the "frontal" and we see thinning and receding a lot of times in those areas.
The name of the game, in my humble opinion, has never been about "blood flow" in the traditional sense but how Omega, supple, hydrated, uncalcified and mobile the scalp environment is (Anagenative) and that directly correlates to your hair health and how much you keep.
Mobile scalp = Grow more Hair
