Why I’m Paying Attention to Bregma

There is a small anatomical point on the top of the skull called bregma. It is where the sagittal and coronal sutures meet. Most people will probably never have a reason to know that. I didn’t either, until I started thinking more seriously about how the scalp changes as male-pattern hair loss progresses. Bregma does not cause hair loss. BUT- it seems to be the physical representation of the "Trigger" to Tissue changes that we undergo.

What makes it very interesting to me is that the coronal suture and sagittal suture connect at the very place that is called the bregma- and that seems to be the place where hair loss possibly starts in MPB. Hidde, Discrete. We don't know its occurred until the deeper changes manifest outward (hair loss). When men's hair loss follows the Hamilton Norwood loss pattern especially, the Bregma is the first place that I would look. I also connect Universal Baseline Stability to this very concept... Because that area seems to get hit first with inflammation, with fibrosis, it seems to be the seed for the Second Head growth phenomenon. I am starting to think that if we were to target that area with tissue health focused topicals + DHT inhibiting + massaging in our regimen - I think not only hair loss would stop, but reverse to normal early on.

Atleast this is my current thought process... AQBS | Hair Loss Champion
