The Big 4 of Reversing Hair Loss (Improved List)

About a year ago I found six areas of balding that we need to pay attention to in order to reverse our hair loss. At this time, I have consolidated those 6 areas, into four areas.

These four areas all contribute to either creating male pattern balding and or keeping the hair follicle in a telogen state. Thus, never being able to reverse on its own without external help. They are the following:

  1. Hormones - in the form of DHT and androgens being out of balance with estrogen. The balance between cortisol and endorphins is important as well as the HGH or TGF-beta between the follicles.

  2. Vasodilation - we think of circulation as a key and it is. However, the under dermis vessels and arteries need to be open, uncalcified and in a condition to support the follicles. This also is in the form of constriction, tightening, and some lipid draining issues that contribute to the hardening of the vessels.

  3. Immune Response - inflammation from a rogue protein or pathogen or whatever caused the immune system to go into overdrive needs attention. This can be a topical microbe or bacteria such as the demodex or a gut issue. The inflammation, itching, acne, and redness is a direct cause of hair loss.

  4. Mechanical - The physical scalp changes such as calcification, fibrosis, lipid and sebum hardening. This soft tissue changing to hard tissue then to scarred tissue is a huge issue. The overlay of face skin over the pores and follicles are a huge issue. The scalp changes nearly quarantine the scalp and keeps the follicles in telogen stage as well.

Fully embracing these four and figuring out how to reverse them is the key and secret to hair regrowth or maximization.
